Laurie Prindle
Laurie Prindle was born and raised among the verdant landscapes of the Green Mountains of Vermont. In 1968, when she was six years old, her grandmother, a talented painter herself, gave her a set of Japanese watercolors. That gift marked the beginning of Laurie’s lifelong passion for creating art. Animals—particularly big cats and birds of prey—fascinated her from an early age, and she dreamed of becoming a wildlife painter when she grew up.
Laurie has been a professional artist since her teens and participated in numerous art shows during those early years, winning several awards in junior divisions. She later attended Parsons School of Design in New York City, graduating with honors in 1984 with a BFA in Communication Design.
For more than 30 years, Laurie has run her own design and illustration studio, specializing in the horse industry. Alongside her professional work, she continued to pursue her love of nature through painting and drawing, eventually making the transition to digital painting in 2004.
